The story of the sad Christmas tree

The story of the sad Christmas tree

First book by the well-known Berlin radio presenter and winner of the German Radio Prize Gerlinde Jänicke.
Warm-hearted Christmas story for young and old based on an idea by Sebastian Fitzek.

It’s the time before Christmas. The time when the scent of cinnamon and speculoos is everywhere and people are buying presents for their families and preparing for the best holiday of the year.

The little Christmas tree is teased by the other fir trees at the Christmas tree market. It is small and crooked and its branches hang in all directions. The little tree is terribly sad and thinks that nobody wants it. No one will take it home with them. Yet the little Christmas tree wants nothing more than to be decorated with an angel made entirely of sugar and colorful beads and to celebrate Christmas with a family of its own.
But then it’s Christmas Eve and the completely unexpected happens…

Sebastian Fitzek is simply amazing. I truly hope that one day I will be able to create suspense and plot twists in the way only Sebastian can. A true Master of his craft.
