Cut off

Forensic scientist Paul Herzfeld finds his daughter’s phone number in the head of a monstrously mangled corpse. Hannah has been abducted – and a perverse paper chase begins for Herzfeld. Because the psychopathic kidnapper has prepared another corpse on Heligoland with clues.

Herzfeld has no chance of obtaining the information, however. The high seas island has been cut off from the mainland by a hurricane and the population has already been evacuated. Among the few people who have remained is comic artist Linda, who found the dead man on the beach.
